In his own words

Zolani Baloyi founded BM Softwares to build software that lasts. He leads the company and builds its platform and products.

I build backend-first, full-stack systems from the ground up. My focus is system design, cloud infrastructure and turning an idea into a platform that holds up under real use. I work across the whole stack, from architecture and APIs to interface, deployment and operations.

Luna is the clearest expression of that: a real computer, delivered as an app, with the cloud complexity kept out of sight. Building it means owning everything underneath: provisioning, isolation, connection, and the app on top.

Before Luna I built AI-powered document pipelines, cloud-hosted backend platforms, authentication and onboarding flows, sync infrastructure, and transport and tracking tools, each taken through real deployment.

I am interested in technology that is practical, ambitious and genuinely useful: software that removes a barrier rather than adding one.
